He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Vacchina and Josephine Vacchina (Barosso); his wife Alberta; and his siblings, Angelina Massaconi and Peter F. Vacchina.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Williams (Thomas) of Wyoming, Darleen "Dee" Mercurio (Arthur) of Cumberland and David S. "Mickey" Vacchina (Debra) of Hopkinton. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Barret & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
