He was predeceased by: his father Peter Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Hope A. Nelson (Kiley); his children, Lainey R. Nelson, Douglas B. Nelson and Drew T. Nelson; the parent of his children Allison Nelson; and his brother Peter M. Nelson (Jennifer). He is also survived by three nieces as well as extended family members and friends.
