He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony F. Merlino and C. Mildred Merlino (Campagna); and his brother Dr. Anthony Merlino. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Merlino (Conca); his children, Mark F. Merlino (Linda), Susan M. Calise (Robert), Elizabeth A. Molloy (John), Regina A. Merlino, Anthony Merlino, Frank A. Merlino, Jr. (Donna), Claudia A. Lambert (Rick), Paul C. Merlino (Tracy) and Jeffrey V. Merlino; and his sister Helen Toro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02904). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
