He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Grant (Dessaint); his children, Janet Sutton (Brian) of Coventry and Gary Grant (Karen) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Michael A. Messier Jr. (Beth) of Warwick, Courtney Simpanen (Evan) of Coventry and Jacob Grant of Coventry; his great grandchildren, Hailey and Michael III; and his siblings, William "Billy" Grant, Phyllis D'Ambra, Barbara Olmstead and Gertrude Waterman.
