He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Gallagher (Lord); his parents, Sylvester Gallagher and Irene Gallagher (Hanley); and his siblings, Joan Fagan and Richard Gallagher.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sondra J. Medeiros (Larry) of Warwick and Jill A. Gallagher (Jason) of West Warwick; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Tara Medeiros, Cameron and Ethan Hunt. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
