It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald R. Raposa of Warwick, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Pamela Cullerton-Coolen; his parents, Joseph Raposa and Mary Raposa (Costa); and his brothers, Alfred and Joseph Raposa.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Raposa (Dupre); his daughters, Diane Raposa of Riverside and Carol Giacobbi (Philip) of North Providence; his brother Frank Raposa of Vermont; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Giacobbi and Bass. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
