She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur E. Giroux and Rosanne M. Higgins (D'Ambra); her brother David J. Giroux; and her nephew David Wilson. She is survived by: her child Shawn P. Burke II; her stepfather Richard M. Higgins; her sisters, Florence "Flori" M. L'Heureux and Roxanne M. Carter; her nephews, Kevin Carter and Jonathan Carter; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Luca and Cody Carter.
