She was predeceased by: her husband George Robert Kirkwood; her parents, Henry Viau and Grayce Viau (Northrup); her son Scott Matthew Kirkwood; and her siblings, Gertrude Hamel (Paul), Doris Loomis (William), Joyce McCrudden, Audrey'Ruth'Luther (Walter 'Sonny'), Barbara Snyzyk (Joseph), Henry Viau (Louise), Bertram Viau, Edgar Viau (Doris) and George Viau.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Kirkwood (Stacy); her grandsons, Brendan Kirkwood (Brittany) and Joshua Kirkwood (Brooke); and her great grandchildren, Harper Kirkwood, Eleanora'Ellie'Kirkwood and Carter Kirkwood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
