He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rickard and Helen Rickard (Murphy). He is survived by: his wife Maureen M. Rickard (Hart); his children, Michael Rickard (Susan), James "Rico" Rickard (Elizabeth) and Cathleen Thornton (Brian); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Laura, Sean, Erin, Liam, Seamus, Aidan, Meaghan, Matthew and Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Camryn and River; and his sister Patricia Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
