James Ellis Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of James Ellis of Warwick, Rhode Island. James, born on May 22, 1946, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ellis and Florence Ellis (Brown); and his sibling Eliane Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Ellis (O'Brien); his children, Lori-Ann Ellis (Doug Mastrosimone), Kristen J. Ellis, James R. Ellis Jr. (Nicole) and Craig M. Ellis (Heather); and his siblings, David Ellis and Becky Beaubien. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (600 Pontiac Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
