He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond W. Moone and Elizabeth M. Moone (Stute); and his brother Gary W. Moone. He is survived by: his wife Dawn C. Moone (Ellis); his brother Richard E. Moone (Gayle) of West Kingston; his mother-in-law Beverley Ellis; his sister-in-law Darlene; and his goddaughter Hailey Sacchetti. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI 02816).
The family plans to establish a memorial foundation in Jeff's name, The Jeff Moone Memorial Foundation, to honor his life and legacy and to support cancer research. Details regarding the foundation and how to contribute will be shared at a later date.
