It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan H. Kaiser (Warwick, Rhode Island), who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Hutter and Audrey Turner-Hutter. She is survived by: her husband Jim McQuaide; her daughters, Audrey Kaiser (Jim) and Laurie Nelle; her son-in-law William Nelle; her grandson William Rudolf Nelle; and her stepgrandchildren, Thomas Ricciotti, Denise Ricciotti, Christopher Ricciotti, David and Sue Ricciotti.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living, 109 Melrose Street, Providence, RI 02907 (where Joan was residing) or a tree may be planted in her honor.
