Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John B. Newman and Alice I. Newman (Hardy); her siblings, John B. Newman (late Linda) of Wickford and Nancy Conway (late Tom) of Concord, MA; her daughter Melissa Conceicao (Jose); her grandchildren, Evan and Elise; her daughter Cheryl Marsland (Ben); and her granddaughters, Chloe and Cecelia. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.
