With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Brown of Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 20, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping John's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Brown and Rae Brown (Marshall); his great grandchild Shontell Adams; and his siblings, Shirley Pettaway, Brenda Suggs, Sally Lewis, Margaret Brown, Floyd Brown and Warren Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Debby; and his children, Jason, Dina Perry and Shontell Gomes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: six great-grandchildren: and a sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865).
