He was predeceased by: his son John V. Cavallaro III; his parents, John Vincent Cavallaro, Sr. and Anna Cavallaro (Merlino); his sister Anna Spremulli; and his brother-in-law Anthony Spremulli.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Cavallaro (Monforte); his children, Francesco A. Cavallaro (Elizabeth), Karen Poulos (Alva) and Dolores "Dee" Cook (James); his daughter-in-law Lori Cavallaro (Knight); his grandchildren, Chrystal (John), Gianna (Michael), Sabrina, Alva (Rachel), Vanessa (Nicholas), Sarah and James; and his siblings-in-law, Joanna Ruggiero and Richard Ruggiero. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's name are greatly appreciated to the American Cancer Society or the Special Olympics of Rhode Island.
