He was predeceased by: his wife Edith F. McLaughlin (Veiger); his parents, Richard McLaughlin and Irene McLaughlin; his grandson Daniel Patrick Walleston Jr.; and his brother Richard McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie M. Morrissey (Ronald), John J. McLaughlin Jr. (Nicole) and Heather L. McLaughlin; and his grandchildren, Michael Mariorenzi, Caitlin Gansert (Jacob), Aoife McLaughlin and John "Jack" McLaughlin III.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russell J Boyle and Son Funeral Homes (142 Centerville Rd, Warwick, RI 02886).
