He is survived by: his wife Carol Mitola (Conn); his children, Everett Mitola (Elizabeth) of North Kingstown, Yvonne Porter (Clifford) of Pensacola and Valerie Mitola of North Kingstown; his grandchildren, Amberjean, Sherry, Karissa, Mikayla, Laura, Nathanael and Samuel; and his sisters, Ruth Knowlton (Daniel) of Cathedral City and Barbara Jacobs (Lee) of Cathedral City, California.. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home (88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI 02879). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery (6365 Post Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852).
