He is survived by: his wife Jane Murphy (Fox); his sisters, Ann (Reed) and Jean (DeLeon); his children, Matthew Murphy (Jessica Glatzer) of Providence, Benjamin Murphy (Rebecca Lucca) of Warwick and Abby Libbey (Derek) of Cranston; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Julia, Ada, Gavin, Maeve and John.
