He is survived by: his children, Sandra J. Ashe, John V. Graichen III, Jean M. Graichen, William F. Graichen, Brian A. Graichen, Steven E. Graichen, Shayla J. Pospichel, Donna M. Hammond-Jordan and Jacqueline R. Graichen; and his sisters, Joan Degnan and Ruth Oakes. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
