He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston LaFrance and Doris LaFrance (Bessette); and his sister Pauline Strach. He is survived by: his wife Donna LaFrance (Cote); his children, Joseph (Jennifer Sanger) of Maryland, Giselle Mahoney (Patrick) of North Kingstown and Monique Bartley (David) of Cumberland; his sisters, Lucille Holcomb of Coventry, Jean Dunham of Florida and Claire Lee of Florida; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashton, Quinten, Joseph, Everett, Abigail, Memphis and Davey; and his son Joe.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Timothy Church (1799 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889-1735).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or your local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
