It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Galvin (Warwick, Rhode Island), who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Galvin and Loretta Galvin (Moreau); and his grandfather Joe'. He is survived by: his wife Dolores C. Galvin (Dupre); his children, Patricia Gingras (Roland), Edward J. Galvin and Coleen Yaroshenko (Yuri); his stepchildren, Karen Little (Mark), Sharon Minear (Ronald), Leonard Houlker (Ann Marie), Richard Houlker (Crystal) and Gladys Houlker (Lesli); and his siblings, Gilbert Galvin and Jacqueline Trahan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 are greatly appreciated.
