It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Vincent Tarpey of Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Tarpey and Gertrude R. Tarpey (McHale) of Pawtucket. He is survived by: his wife Linda R. Tarpey (Forcier); his daughters, Sheri, Suzanne (Tarpey) and Sheryl Tarpey; his grandson Dylan Mendonca; his son-in-law Francis Mendonca; and his grandson Jack V. Tarpey.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
