She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Whitman (Nina), Pamela Piacitelli (David) and Walter Whitman (Cynthia); her daughter-in-law Ann Joyce-Whitman; her siblings, Maureen McMahon, Donna-Lee Charette, Denise Wade, Carol Robinson and Claudia Robinson; and her grandchildren, Steve Whitman (Charlene), Meredith DeAngelis, Patrick Whitman, Kevin Whitman, Kelley Whitman, Melissa Pensak, Joseph Pensak, Matthew Pensak (Kaylin), Amanda Kontra (Bryan), Rachel Nadeau (Andrew) and Erica Jackson (Derek). She is also survived by many great‑grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory (721 Washington St, Coventry, RI 02816). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Apostles (170 Fairview Ave, Coventry, RI 02816).
