She was predeceased by: her husband Edmond F. Froment, Jr.; her parents, Wilfred LaVoie and Valerie LaVoie (LaFontaine); and her sister Theresa Lambert. She is survived by: her children, Karen E. Slawski (Don), David R. Froment (Jill), Kristen E. Bowerfind (Craig), Mémère of Alex, Mikayla, Benjamin and Jenna; and her sister Anita Paré.
