It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madelyn Surrette of Warwick, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur E. Surrette; her parents, Ignazio Ciliberto and Lucretia Ciliberto (Mattase); her siblings, Theresa Buttero, Grace Pagnozzi, Mary Borrelli, Domenic, Simone and John Ciliberto; and her grandson John Rigney III.

She is survived by: her children, John E. Surrette (Soledade) of Warwick and Gail A. Rigney (John) of Warwick; her sister Antoinette Mattoni; her grandsons, William Rigney, John Surrette and Steven Surrette; and her great grandchildren, Sira and Eva.
