She was predeceased by: her parents, James Murphy and Hannah Murphy (Sheehan); her daughter Carol McCann (Stephen McCann); and her siblings, James Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Barbara Poirier and Kevin Murphy.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond J. Coogan; her children, Margaret Carlson (Robert) and Raymond Coogan (Colleen); her granddaughters, Kellie Costner, Hannah Wright and Erin Avalos; and her great grandchildren, Luke Avalos, Selah Wright, Riley and Jackson Costner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose and Clement Church (111 Long St, Warwick, RI 02886).
