She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Mernick; her parents, Frank Quarnstrom and Margaret Quarnstrom (O'Donnell); her siblings, Francis Quarnstrom and Elizabeth Ann Simonini; and her son Robert A. Mernick.
She is survived by: her children, Paula M. Reynolds, Ellen Mernick of Woodside, CA, Susan F. Mernick, John C. Mernick, Paul D. Mernick, James F. Mernick, Peter A. Mernick and Mary E. "Liz" Burri of Columbus, OH.; her granddaughter Jaime Carroll; her daughter Jane Mernick Long; and her friend Carol Lorden. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and I great Grandchild.
