He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel N. Cotta, Jr. and Carol-Ann Cotta (O'Gara). He is survived by: his son Michael J. Cotta, Jr. of Pawtucket; his sister Denise Cotta-Fontana (Luigi Fontana) of Bristol; and his goddaughter Christina M. Fontana of Bristol. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
