She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sr. Dessaint and Mazie Dessaint (Chartrand); and her brother James "Jimmy" Dessaint. She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Janet Sutton (Brian) of Coventry and Gary Grant (Karen) of Coventry; her grandchildren, Michael A. Messier Jr. (Beth) of Warwick, Courtney Simpanen (Evan) of Coventry and Jacob Grant of Coventry; her great grandchildren, Hailey and Michael III; and her siblings, Albert Dessaint Jr. and Donna Grinnell.
