He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Eugene and Helen Place (Kovalchick); his sons, Allen and Philip; his daughter-in-law Kerrie Place (Leamy); his grandchildren, Colson, Hannah Place, Isla, Landon and Aldrich Cooley; Chad Cooley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Korean United Methodist Church (35 Kilvert St, Warwick, RI 02886).
