He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick H. and Mary C. Massie (Hamelin); his wife Eva J. "Jo" (Lamontagne); and his siblings, Georgette Arnold, Mary Williams, Claire Massie and Frederick Massie.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa J. Clay (David), Cynthia M. Cote (Derrick), Valerie A. Carlucci (Mario), Joan E. Massie (Charles) and John F. Massie (Odalia); and his grandchildren, Raymond Clay (Jessica), Erika Ellis, Jonathan Massie (Paige) and Kayla Massie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02888). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Kevin Roman Catholic Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889).
