She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald T. Murphy; her parents, Urban F. O'Brien and Ethel O'Brien (Quinn); her daughters, Jeanne M. Adamek and Judith E. Murphy; her son-in-law John Atherly; and her siblings, Ethel Harrington, Elizabeth Avery, Mary McLeod, Urban O'Brien Jr., Joseph O'Brien, Paul O'Brien and Ursula McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Murphy, Gerald T. Murphy (Janet), Joan E. Dugan (John) and Janice L. Atherly; and her sister-in-law Kay O'Brien. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
