He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Riordan, and Carolyn Riordan, Sr. (Howard); and his siblings, Diane Riordan, Stephen, Charlene Riordan, Terrance Riordan, Carolyn (Riordan) and Christopher Totolo.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Riordan (Corry); his children, Corry McConnell (Christine), Tracey McConnell (Joseph Amaral) and Ross Riordan; his grandchildren, Samantha and Jack McConnell; and his brother Wallace. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
