He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Ryan and Margaret E. Ryan (McNally); his brother William Ryan; and his grandson Matthew Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Ryan; his children, Robert J. Ryan, Jr. (Lyn) of Warwick, Michael E. Ryan (Kerrianne) of Coventry and Susan E. Ryan (William Alberico) of Warwick; and his granddaughter Anna Ryan.
