With sadness, we share the passing of Robert B. Marran Sr. of Warwick, Rhode Island. Robert, born on February 19, 1937, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. "Tex" Marran, Sr. and Martha Marran (Corbett); and his siblings, Joseph E. Marran, Jr., Dorothea Carey and Margaret Flanagan.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Marran (Reardon); his children, Michael K. Marran, Robert B. Marran, Jr. and Kathleen C. Schlenz; his grandchildren, Patrick Marran, Timothy Marran (Julie), Sean Marran (Madison), Daniel J. Marran, Eileen Edwards (Ross), Brighid Schlenz and Anna Schlenz; and his great grandchildren, Lila and Isabelle Marran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home - South County Chapel (1111 Boston Neck Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory – South County Chapel (1111 Boston Neck Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (180 Old North Rd, Kingston, RI 02881). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the St. Francis Cemetery.
