We announce the death of Robert P. Mead (Warwick, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 75. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Mead and Nancy M. Mead (Kilkenny); and his brother Richard B. "Duke" Mead, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jane L. Mead (Tinker); his daughters, Melissa K. Cote (Christopher Cote) and Michelle A. Mead (David Cunningham); his grandchildren, Taylor E. Cote, Alexis S. Cote, Robert Cunningham (Miles), Levi S. Cunningham, Annie Cunningham, Henry Cunningham and Arthur Shafer (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Blake and Artie; his siblings, David L. Mead (Gina), Denise M. Miller (Larry), Donna M. O'Rourke (John) and Barbara A. Trudeau (Don); and his close friend Jane. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family members, closefriends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889).
