He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent L. Smith, Sr. and Joan Smith-Nordin (O'Toole); and his sister Kathleen J. Hutton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Smith (Maine); his daughters, Margaret J. Smith (Richard Batchelder) of Block Island and Elizabeth M. Smith of Warwick; and his brothers, Vincent L. Smith, Jr. of Cranston, Brian M. Smith of Warwick and Timothy W. Smith of Largo.
