With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta May Young (Warwick, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Sousa and Anna M. Sousa (Rose); her brother Robert Sousa (Buddy); her son Bryan Vernon Young of Reyes Syndrome; and her spouse Ellis E. Young.
She is survived by: her brother Edward Vernon Sousa; her children, Ellis E. Young of Denver, Pamela A. Young of Loxley and Donna Young Perrotta (John) of Providence, RI.; her grandchildren, Jessica A. Cottrell (Robert), David A. Doll and John Zachary Perrotta; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Cottrell, Olivia Cottrell and Quinton Cottrell.
