He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Denson and Penelope Denson Spellman (Hahn). He is survived by: his wife Kim (Miller); his children, Phylicia Proulx (Jeffrey) of East Providence, Ronald W. Denson Jr., Gabrielle of Warwick and Kyle Denson of Warwick; his grandchildren, Penelope Denson and Ronald W. Denson III; his siblings, Deborah Cabral (Jay) of Warwick, Michael Denson (Dianne) of West Warwick, Kathleen Medeiros (Douglas) of Warwick, Matthew Denson (Regina) of Millington, TN and Suzanne Fernandes (Christopher) of Coventry; his aunt Janet Kotek (Dennis) of Cary, NC.; and his pet Queenie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
