She was predeceased by: her parents, Yoshitaro Yoda and Tsuru Yoda (Suzuki); her husband Edmund E. Murphy; her son James J. Murphy; her granddaughter Marissa M. Murphy; and her siblings, Shinobu, Masaru, Minaru and Shimoko Sakurai.
She is survived by: her sons, John F. Murphy and Randy E. Murphy (Nettie); her daughter-in-law Denise Murphy; her grandchildren, John Murphy, Michele Murphy, Marc Murphy, Deanna Palombo (Ian), Kayla Murphy, Brittany Murphy and Justin Murphy (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Avery Palombo, Penelope and Lennox Murphy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
