He was predeceased by: his parents, Cruz Mesa and Plinio Mesa; his extended family, Cruz Mesa, Plinio Mesa and Ulises Mesa; and his nephew Almanny Nunez.
He is survived by: his wife Leyda Santana of Mesa; his daughters, Leyda Mesa, Zabdi Mesa and Etmi Mesa; his grandchildren, Javid Dejesus, Amilia Dejesus, Emmanuel Dejesus, Darah Santos, Abigail Santos and Lily Valentina Depina; and his siblings, Maribel Mesa, Altagracia Mesa Taveras, Pedro Julio and Poli. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prata-Gallogly Funeral Home (78 Providence St, West Warwick, RI 02893). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church (370 Strawberry Field Rd, Warwick, RI 02886). A burial was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 200 Fairview Ave, Coventry, RI 02816.
