We announce the death of Shirley A. Malo (Warwick, Rhode Island), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Malo; her parents, Biagio Broccoli and Rose Broccoli (Comello); and her siblings, Henry Broccoli and Marie Antos.
She is survived by: her children, William (Lee-Ann) and Gina (Kevin); her grandchildren, Tyler Malo, Brianna Benedetti, Paige Malo and Danica Butler; her great grandchildren, Ava, Sydney and Ariella; and her close friends, Evelyn and Marie Carnevale. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quinn Funeral Home (2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02889). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity she supported and was close to Shirley's heart.
