He was predeceased by: his parents, Athanassios Hantzopoulos and Eleni Hantzopoulos (Nikolakopoulou). He is survived by: his wife Helen Fidas Hantzopoulos; his children, Efstathia, Dean and Athan Hantzopoulos; and his siblings, Anna Strigas and Athanassios Hantzopoulos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
