With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven A. Goins of Warwick, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Jack L. Goins. He is survived by: his wife Diane Newman-Goins; his mother Virginia Goins Segar (Blackstone) of Newport News, VA; his children, Amy Goins (Peter Skwirz) of Smithfield, RI and Gregory Goins of Cranston, RI; his sisters, Valerie Whitfield (Tom), Gwen Goins of Greensboro, NC, Karen Morgan of Winston-Salem, NC and Judy Anderson (Ed) of Newport News, VA; and his granddaughters, Rose and Audrey Skwirz.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven's memory to Asbury UMC would be appreciated.
