As Therese departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Therese may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Therese leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Francis Hughes; her parents, Camille Arcand and Yvonne Arcand (Vanasse); and her sons, John Michael Hughes, William Francis Hughes and Thomas Edward Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Mikaelian (Vahan) of Scituate; and her sister-in-law Clare Hope Hughes. She is also survived by daughter-in-law; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
