It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia R. Butler (Warwick, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph P. Butler, Sr.; and her parents, Ralph H. Tacey Sr. and Ruth H. Tacey (Shepard). She is survived by: her children, Joseph P. Butler Jr. (Joyce) of Cranston, Patricia L. LeBlanc (Michael) of Coventry, Sheila A. Guy (William) of Greene, Jean F. Card (Steven) of Coventry and Patrick M. Butler (Kimberly) of Cumberland; and her brother Ralph H. Tacey of Portland, CT.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
