Wayne R. Hitchener Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2025, at the age of 78, Wayne R. Hitchener of Warwick, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Wayne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wayne has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund T. Hitchener and Virginia A. Hitchener (Olivieri); and his brother Paul Hitchener. He is survived by: his spouse Ewa S. Slusareck-Hitchener (Kiersznowska); his children, Christopher Hitchener and Nicole Hitchener; his siblings, Mark Hitchener, Alan Hitchener and Janice Pangman; and his pet Lapka.
