He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara B. Slinko (Kiernan); his children, William T. A. Slinko (Joanne), Mary Elizabeth H. Slinko, Colleen P. Slinko (Tracy Lyn) and Paul F. Slinko; his grandchildren, Shyanne, Patrick, Paula and Denise; his great grandchild Leonardo; his brother Edward Slinko (Susan); and his cousin Joan Jurjevich (James). He was also cherished by father to his four children.
For forty years, as the soup kitchen expanded and until its closure due to COVID, Bill could be found every Saturday, setting the menu, starting the soup, and setting up the coffee.
