He is survived by: his wife Janice C. Bergeron (Mattson) of West Greenwich; his sons, Richard A. Bergeron, Jr. (Maria Veronica) of Cumberland and Michael A. Bergeron (Renee) of Coventry; and his siblings, Raymond J. Bergeron of Naples, FL and Suzanne Bergeron of California. He is also survived by several relatives and friends.
