She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Gabrielsen and Charlotte Gabrielsen; her son Paul Spencer; and her brother Bernard Gabrielsen, Sr.. She is survived by : her husband William Spencer, III; her son David Spencer (Julie); her grandson Paul Spencer, Jr. (Sarah); and her sisters, Claire Mathewson and Linda Grabbert.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
